Imogen Dental would like to thank all of our patients for their patience and forbearance during this long period of practice closure due to Covid 19. Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation whilst we now implement necessary new and enhanced measures, protocols and procedures. These are present to keep you, our team and families safe.
Even though the Government and NHS England have stated dental practices can reopen from 8 June 2020, we anticipate reopening on the 1st July 2020 to allow of this safe return to work under new enhanced procedures and protocols.
Phase 1 of reopening During the initial period, we are obligated to giving priority to dental emergencies and treatments that were suspended prior to the government shut-down. We must also continue to observe strict social distancing which necessitates the need to introduce a buffering period between patients arriving and leaving the surgery, thus reducing our ability to see our usual volume of patients per day.
Phase 2 of reopening Return to routine dental care, albeit in a restricted and limited capacity, from 1 August 2020.
We will still be maintaining our emergency telephone service for advice. Dental emergencies include: severe pain for over 48 hours facial swelling, trauma, or uncontrolled bleeding.
Please bear with us We aim to be back to the "new normal" as soon as government and medical advice allows.
Please do not arrive at the practice unannounced. No new dental appointments can be booked at this stage.
We understand this is inconvenient and it may mean the treatment timelines are extended. We will be able to reconvene normal service once it is safe to do so. If your appointment needs to be postponed, one of the team will be in touch.
Thank you for all your support during these uncertain times. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all soon
